Author Event: The Banned Bookshop of Maggie Banks by Shauna Robinson

The Book Worm Bookstore and Lucky Jefferson are excited to bring you this unique event with author Shauna Robinson.

In Shauna Robinson’s The Banned Bookshop of Maggie Banks, (without giving too much away) her protagonist Maggie comes up with an idea to have authors “write a funny, ridiculous scene that intertwined a literary classic with an entirely different genre.”

Did you ever think Peter Pan should have been a who-dun-it mystery? Maybe you’d like to see Dracula as a dystopian. Now’s your chance to recreate scenes from a literary classic.  Guess who is joining in on the fun? Author Shauna Robinson herself!

Submit a scene from one of the classics below and reimagine it with the element of a completely different genre. Of course, we had to include The Banned Bookshop of Maggie Banks as one of the choices!

The fun doesn’t stop there. Selected writers will have their scenes featured in a print and digital publication by Lucky Jefferson, available for sale exclusively at The Book Worm Bookstore.
